creating a contrast. Hydrangeas and army men

words that I feel go with my hydrangeas are: delicate, soft, feminine, fragile, fresh.....
now I am thinking about something that could contradict this idea of the hydrangea that i focus on. In a discussion in class an option for showing something or expressing it more was to contradict it or make a contrast with something that is opposite to it. So i was thinking about using my hydrangeas and the theme of transience and fragility and I came up with the idea of using little army men with them to create a contrast or contradiction between the two.

detail in the wings

how beautiful are the wings on this dragonfly's body (in this photo I took whilst waiting for the boys to catch a fish) . I am intrigued at how detailed and delicate the wings on this red dragon fly look. The red is complemented by the green grass

hydrangeas every where I go

I found the hydrangeas below on a visit to pilgramsrest on holiday- a sweet little town with an awesome pancake restaurant

hydrangea references

so every where I go there always seems to be hydrangeas that I find:
these photo's i took at the place I stayed at in Kruger in the Holidays
